Role: Maths Teacher
Location: Park School, Chipping Norton, OX7 5QH
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only
Start: November 2026

About the Role
As our Maths Teacher, you'll do far more than deliver lessons, you'll inspire students to believe in their own potential. Through engaging, creative and highly personalised teaching, you'll bring maths to life, helping learners build confidence, overcome challenges and develop a genuine enjoyment of learning.
Working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll create a supportive and nurturing classroom where every student feels valued, understood and empowered to succeed. By adapting your teaching to meet individual needs, you'll break down barriers to learning, celebrate every achievement and help young people develop the skills, resilience and independence they need for the future.
You'll also have the opportunity to make a lasting impact as a Form Tutor, providing guidance, encouragement and pastoral support that helps students thrive both academically and personally. Collaborating closely with families, Teaching Assistants and external professionals, you'll play a key role in creating a strong network of support, ensuring every young person has the opportunity to flourish and achieve their full potential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging, creative and differentiated Maths lessons that inspire every learner.
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching that enables students to achieve their individual targets.
- Create an inclusive, nurturing and positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
- Monitor, assess and track student progress, adapting teaching to maximise achievement.
- Use a range of assessment strategies and digital recording tools to celebrate progress and inform future learning.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
- Support students' social, emotional and personal development alongside their academic progress.
- Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.
About You
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent required.
- Experience teaching Maths across secondary age students.
- High expectations and a genuine belief that every child can succeed.
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills.
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs.
- Experience working within an SEN or specialist setting is desirable but not essential.

Park School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 18, catering for students with a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs.
