- Coach, mentor and support teaching colleagues, sharing excellent practice and helping develop confidence across the team
- Monitor the quality of teaching and learning within STEM and identify opportunities for continued improvement
- Create learning experiences that encourage creativity, practical thinking and problem solving
- Contribute to whole-school improvement planning and the strategic development of teaching and learning
- Work collaboratively as part of our One Team approach, alongside education colleagues and multidisciplinary professionals, to achieve the best possible outcomes for students
What you will bring
We’re looking for someone who combines excellent classroom practice with the ambition and confidence to lead others.
You’ll bring:
- Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Level 2 English and Maths
- Experience teaching within a STEM-related subject area
- Strong subject knowledge and high-quality classroom practice
- The confidence and enthusiasm to lead curriculum development and drive improvement
- Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting colleagues to develop their practice
- The creativity and adaptability to engage students with a range of additional needs
