At OFG Education we allow for greater work life balance and extra time to do the things you love outside work
Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Park School, Chipping Norton, OX7 5QH
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (dependant on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Start: November 2026

About the Role
At Park School, you'll have the opportunity to do what great teaching is really about: building relationships, inspiring confidence and helping students achieve things they never thought possible.
We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our specialist team, supporting students with autism and additional needs. With smaller class sizes, a highly supportive environment and the chance to tailor learning to individual students, you'll have the time and flexibility to make a genuine impact every day.
This is a role where progress isn't always measured by exam results alone. It might be a student communicating with confidence, overcoming a challenge, building friendships or taking a significant step towards greater independence. Every achievement matters, and you'll play a key role in helping students reach their potential.
Whether you're an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Inspire, motivate and support students with autism and additional SEND needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor progress and adapt approaches to ensure every student can succeed.
- Work collaboratively with families, therapists and colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.
- Promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing alongside academic development.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning.
- Experience of working with SEND students, or a genuine interest in specialist education.
- A creative, adaptable and student-centred approach to teaching.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Committed to creating opportunities for every student to thrive.
