As our SENCo, you will:

- Work alongside school leaders and governors to ensure the school meets its statutory responsibilities and promotes equality of opportunity for all students.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies to coordinate effective support and smooth transitions.
- Monitor the impact of SEND provision and use outcomes to continually enhance student support and educational experiences.
- Oversee assessments and targeted interventions, helping students make meaningful progress across literacy, numeracy, and the wider curriculum.
- Promote a calm, nurturing, and purposeful learning environment where students can develop confidence, resilience, and independence.
- Identify training needs and support staff in developing their knowledge and understanding of SEND.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the school's SEN Information Report, ensuring provision remains responsive and effective.
Also, this role will include a teaching commitment depending on the needs of the school.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an empathetic and dedicated professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for students with additional needs and committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
You will have:

- The ability to lead, motivate, and support colleagues to deliver outstanding outcomes for students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a genuine ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and external partners.
