  • Use effective classroom management and behaviour support strategies to help students successfully engage with learning
  • Work collaboratively with education, support and care colleagues to provide consistent and personalised support
  • Contribute to English curriculum development and whole school improvement, sharing ideas and effective practice
  • Support students’ wider personal, social and emotional development alongside their academic progress

What you will be bring

We’re looking for an English Teacher who believes progress starts with understanding the individual learner.

You’ll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English across relevant key stages
  • A genuine passion for English, literacy, reading and language development
  • The creativity and flexibility to engage students who may previously have experienced barriers to learning
