Job Title: Domestic Assistant - Part time
Location: Underley Garden School, Kirkby Lonsdale LA6 2DZ
Hours: 15 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Shifts 6am - 9am or 3pm - 6pm flexibility available.
Salary: £8,864.25 per annum (not pro rata) + Travel allowance
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: October 2026

What you will be doing
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, residential homes, offices and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising spaces to create a safe and welcoming environment.
- Cleaning bathrooms, changing facilities and other essential areas.
- Replenishing consumables and ensuring supplies are well stocked.
- Reporting maintenance, health and safety or repair concerns.
- Working closely with colleagues to provide the best possible environment for students and staff.

Underley Garden School is a large school with small class sizes, focusing on pupils, aged 5-19, who have a range of complex needs associated with autism and learning disabilities, including complex communication, sensory and behavioural needs associated with their disabilities.
